International Delight® Launches Marshmallows Into the Atmosphere With “First PEEPS® in Space” Diorama

The out-of-this-world diorama will appear at America’s most competitive PEEPS® art show, following the launch of the first PEEPS-flavored coffee creamer.

Broomfield, Colo. – [April 9, 2019] – To celebrate the launch of International Delight PEEPS® Flavored Creamer, International Delight® is “launching” a PEEPS®-filled diorama worthy of intergalactic acclaim, dubbed “First PEEPS® in Space.” The 4-foot-by-4-foot, 150-pound diorama is made of more than 1,000 individual PEEPS®, including several hidden “Easter eggs” inspired by the biggest stories and newsmakers working in space travel and exploration. The PEEPS® diorama features PEEPS® traveling around in an International Delight® space shuttle, drinking from a space station coffeehouse and sunbathing in space.

From April 12 to 23, the diorama will appear at one of America’s most competitive annual PEEPS® art competitions, the Carroll County Arts Council PEEPshow in Westminster, Md. The Carroll County Arts Council PEEPshow is one of the first PEEPS® in-person art exhibitions and was founded in 2008. The art show began as a response to make consumers’ handmade PEEPS® art more visible to the general public. Since its founding, entries have gone viral and helped expand the avid PEEPS® fan base.

“‘First PEEPS® in Space’ is a celebration of the way space is inspiring boundless imagination in 2019, just as it did 50 years ago when Neil Armstrong became the first human to walk on the moon,” said Lauren Start, senior brand manager for International Delight®. “There’s no better way to celebrate the new International Delight PEEPS® Flavored Creamer with our biggest fans.”

International Delight’s latest creamer features the iconic flavor of America’s most beloved spring treats, PEEPS®, adding some PEEPSONALITY® to the already sweet lineup of more than 20 International Delight® creamers. International Delight PEEPS® Flavored Creamer is available in grocery and mass-market retailers nationwide for a suggested retail cost of $3.79.
