Customer & Industry Recognition
Danone tied for the No. 1 spot in the food supplier category among 30 major retailers, according to a recent survey from Advantage Group. The findings reflect Danone’s efforts to improve our supply chain processes, collaborate with retailers on joint business plans, and share key insights on category trends.
Amazon Fresh recognized Danone as its inaugural “Vendor of the Year.” This top vendor award recognizes all-around excellence across supply chain, assortment, planning and promotions to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
The CFIC recognizes an outstanding supplier each year based on excellence in innovation, customer service and industry involvement. Danone was honored for our support of CFIC, our strong strategic business relationships, and the results we’ve driven with Carolina/southern grocery retailers and wholesalers.
Rouses Supermarkets operates 55 grocery stores across Louisiana and the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and Alabama and is the No. 1 retailer serviced by Danone for Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG). This win recognizes three key areas of work that Danone conducted with the Rouse’s team focused on increased sales, enhanced category management initiatives, and improved supply through customer collaboration.
SpartanNash is a distributor, wholesaler and retailer with a global supply chain network. They also operate 144 supermarkets across the U.S. This year’s first-ever Impact Awards honored SpartanNash’s top 10 suppliers. Danone was recognized for driving significant growth in retail sales, category and market share; leading collaborative efforts with SpartanNash partners to improve service levels; and serving as Yogurt Category Captain.
Vizient is the largest provider-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the country. Its Excellence Awards honor suppliers who demonstrate superior service, support, reliability, ethics and integrity in collaboration with Vizient and its members.
Brand & Product Recognition
Fast Company compiled a list of brands it found were working to help make a difference in the lives of their customers, communities and the planet. Two Good was recognized for taking our ‘good’ a step further than a lower-sugar formula by working with organizations that rescue food that would otherwise be wasted and deliver it to those in need. Two Good also finds creative ways to use delicious Verified Rescued fruit in our innovation pipeline. And, through partners like City Harvest and We Don’t Waste, Two Good has helped donate more than 55 million meals to people in need to help reduce food insecurity.
This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Men’s Health Best Foods for Men awards. The list named 20 best “nutritious and delicious products” released in 2023 and chose STōK Espresso Blend Cold Brew Coffee for its “potent-yet-balanced brew” without added sugar or milk.
International Delight was awarded Honorable Mention at the PRSA-NY Big Apple Awards in the Media Relations & Content Marketing category for the launch of FRIENDS Manhattan Hazelnut Mocha Creamer. This award honors innovative, engaging or other successful techniques that captured the attention of influencers and media and connected them with the brand. International Delight was honored for media relations efforts and a media and influencer event hosted at The FRIENDS Experience to celebrate the product launch.
Sustainability Recognition
This award recognizes Danone’s commitment to regenerative agriculture and sustainability.
Workplace & Culture Recognition
This recognition celebrates organizations that help set the standard for whole-organization health. For Danone North America, this includes a balanced and effective health and wellbeing strategy that involves company culture, health and wellness programs, whole-person health commitment, and plan-cost subsidy.
For the fifth consecutive year, Danone North America scored a perfect 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index. The HRC Equality 100 Award recognizes inclusive company culture, as well as comprehensive policies, benefits and practices that ensure greater equality for LGBTQ+ workers and their families. Organizations must meet all criteria to earn a score of 100.
